Ballot Statement :

I would be honored to earn your vote for Oceanside City Council.  I am a Viet Nam veteran, married with 3 grown children.  I am a small business owner.  I have served on many Oceanside Commissions, the last 3 years as Chairman of the Planning Commission.

I am a Past President of Oceanside Rotary, current Lecturing Knight of Oceanside Elks, former Treasurer and Board member of KOCT, life member Disabled Veterans, and member of the American Legion, NAUS and AARP.

If you promote me to City Council I will: 

Represent ALL Oceanside Citizens;

Build a productive relationship with my fellow council persons based on teamwork, cooperation, and respect;

Solve the traffic and road repair problems;

Improve the working environment at City Hall to recruit and retain excellent city employees;

Institute a proactive program to bring businesses to Oceanside to increase jobs and revenue;

Hire more police until Oceanside’s crime rate falls below the national average;

Preserve and protect Oceanside’s beautiful natural resources. 

I share your love of our great city.  I promise to treat my fellow council persons with respect.  I promise to balance the City budget as I do my own.
